Walking Down Ciudad Quesada Spain
Take a trip down Ciudad Quesada Spain, situated a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. It is a small municipality consisting mainly of residential areas, largely populated with expats of British origin. Although not a coastal town in itself, it is sandwiched between the Torrevieja and the Guardamar del Segura. These two towns are coastal municipalities under the Alicante province and known hotspots for beach goers within the Valencian region.
There are several ways of getting to the Ciudad Quesada Alicante. With tourists intending to drive there, they may take the toll road AP7 then take the N332. Sightseers may also use public transportation such as the bus or train. Tourists may use the bus which goes through the area to the municipality of Torrevieja as well as a number of Spanish cities. The bus station offers regular bus services with common European bus lines such as the Immaculate, the Alsa and Riviera. Tourists may also use the train station located in Alicante to get to the town.
The area has a number of wonderful spots which tourists can take advantage of and enjoy. Along the municipalities of the Torrievieja and the Playa de la Mata are great coastlines. Within the area of the Playa de la Mata itself is a lagoon surrounded by a nature park. With the number of beaches located near the Ciudad Quesada Alicante, it is no wonder that water sports and activities are popular in these areas. Travelers usually stay in hotels within the area and take advantage of the available action such as canoeing, sailing, snorkeling and windsurfing. For families travelling with children, they can go to the Aquopolis Water Park, located only a few kilometers from the town. Families and other tourists need not get far to have fun in the water as all of the hotels within the town have a swimming pool or spa built within the vicinity.
Other more minor points of interest within the area include the 15th century structure known as the Torre del Moro. Located in the town of Torrevieja, it is a structure with a circular floor built. Travelling only 20 minutes from the Ciudad Quesada and tourists will find the largest salt flats in all of Europe, next to a farm and a series of wetlands.
