Travelling Around Rojales Alicante
The Costa Blanca is a stretch of white sand that runs all the way down the province of Alicante. Its capital lies in Alicante which has a number small towns and villages that are independent from one another when it comes to beauty, charm and history. One of the most visited towns is Rojales Alicante.
Just a very short ride to the beach, Rojales Alicante is a famous drop-off point for tourists and backpackers. It has a wide variety of restaurants, accommodations, and entertainment centers. This town is already on its way to becoming one of the most modern ones in the province of Alicante due to infrastructures all around.
Despite being a typical Spanish town that exudes the charm that other towns have, Rojales has a lot more to offer. Besides shops and restaurants that abound in the town, there are also three major supermarkets and a health center. The town displays traditional Spanish churches in beauty and grandeur and the Rojales square provides a place of relaxation for locals.
One interesting infrastructure in Rojales Alicante is the presence of cave houses which serves as a mini museum with its own artwork and a house that has millions of pieces of shells for decoration both inside and out.
Nightlife is alive in this town, too, as there are various discos to choose from in a street lined with fun. On top of that, every shopper would find Thursday mornings therapeutic as there is a market that opens near the river. The market will allow you to stock up on various fresh finds such as vegetables and fruits and some nice trinkets as well.
There are various resorts and accommodations in and around Rojales that you can choose from. You can either rent a townhouse for your duration of stay and live independently or rent a room in one of the most famous resorts. Most resorts offer various activities and tours to its guests.
If you are into fishing, there are glass bottom boat trips available every day from most of the resorts along the coast that will take you out to Tabarca Island. Other places of interest in and around Rojales include Murcia City and its cathedral, splash parks in Torrevieja, and Mar Menor and its yachting marinas.
Definitely, a trip to Rojales Alicante will never go to waste whether you are alone, with friends, family, or with your special someone. You will find places of interest and activities that will suit your taste and budget. Do not worry too much about the language barrier since a lot of people from this town are already versed in English, and indeed there are a number of native English speakers. This is because there are many expatriate from Britain, Ireland, and northern Europe who have made Rojales their home. If you want to visit Costa Blanca but are unsure of where your base should be, Rojales is a perfect town with rustic charm and modern amenities all around.
