It has great access to the beaches of Alicante and Alicante airport. This city is strongly embracing the principles of sustainable transport. For instance, San Vicente del Raspeig offers free bikes and there will soon be a tram service available in. The free bikes service was launched in June 2007, basically the citizen can hire bikes for a period of three hours and leave the bike when they have finished using it at one of four collection points. This line is composed of sections 1 and 2 running through the center of Alicante and the section 3 that runs purely on sanvicentero territory. The economy of San Vicente del Raspeig is based on the one hand and industry and the other side is residential. In times past agriculture was the main support and maintenance of the area. Today agriculture has gone into the background. Much of the cropland has been yielded for building industrial areas and housing estates. There are of course certain areas which have been given agricultural protection, although a lot of these are going to merge fines on those estates. Industrial estates have been created in the large areas of land which exist between San Vicente del Raspeig and Alicante. This is because of the excellent communication channels which are now open between these two areas.

There are many different attractions or the tourist including some of the civil buildings in the area. The city council building was built in 1887. The style of the main facade is modernist. And, it has undergone numerous renovations. It has three stone arches on the front and sides also house two arches which give a very majestic appearance to the square. During the decade of the 60s, sustained economic development in the city and the boom population led to the extension of the building with the back of it being extended. The Former Railway Station which is in a state of disuse was an important building during the first half of the 20th century. The current state of the building is nothing to what it was when it was built first. Today it is characterized by having a walkway lined with trees. It lies on the railway line from Alicante to Madrid and represents one of the key industrial developmental elements of San Vicente del Raspeig. It was opened in the second half of the 19th century by Queen Isabella the second of Spain. Like the town hall, the railway station is quite modernist in design, and highlights some of the ornamentation which is typical of the build time. Although it is currently somewhat neglected, it should retain some of its former glory with the introduction of local trains to Villena. Finally, the Casa de los Molinos which is a house from the late nineteenth century that is nestled between crop fields surrounding the village of Raspeig. It has now been acquired by the city. Around the house is beautifully preserved garden that occupies 1200 square meters.

The church has a structure in Latin cross with chapels side. In the center of the church stands a dome surmounted by a vane. The main tower of the church was destroyed in the second half of the twentieth century which has since been reconstructed.. It’s a beautiful building that contrasts with the narrow side streets. There is also the Church of the Immaculate which is a contemporary church, built in the 1970 and rebuilt in 1990. Located on the street Benlliure, it consists of a large enclosure for prayer. Dedicated to the Immaculate Conception lose fiestas are celebrated in the streets around December 9 with a wreath in the festive entities involved in the city. The holiday ends with a mascletá.
