what about public transport for non-cycling, non-car driving people?

    what about vegetarians?

    Hey JosieS

Vegetarians have not had a great deal in terms of restaurants. I have two sisters living in Alicante and both of them are vegetarians. They find it very difficult to get across the concept of a vegetarian to Spanish waiters and chefs. A vegetarian salad nearly always comes up with either tuna or bits of pork. But things are changing slowly and there are plenty of European restaurants that are opening that understand the needs of the vegetarian. As far as public transport is concerned, you are out of luck if you are non-cycling and non-car driving. Your only option is to revert back to what people have been doing since the dawn of time, walking. There’s plenty of touristscome to the Costa Blanca every year purely for walking holidays. I see your point though, more public transportation is definitely needed, but it comes down to supply and demand unfortunately.
