Where is Pedreguer?

Pedreguer is situated on the Costa Blanca in the South East zone of Spain. Pedreguer is situated north of Alicante and Benidorm. It is to the east of Javea and Denia. It is surrounded by Ondara, Benidoleig, Gata de Gorgos, and Macizo del Montgo. If you are flying into the region then the nearest airport is Alicante airport at just under 100 km. Because the town is in the north of the province, Valencia airport is the next nearest at just over 110 km. Many people like to fly into the southern province of Murcia. Murcia airport offers very cheap travel from all over Europe and what is quite a distance from the town at over 180 km.

Accommodation in Pedreguer

There are enough places of accommodation to suit everyone here counting Pedreguer hotels, guest houses, and self catering accommodation. There is Pedreguer accommodation to suit all finances. The near towns of Denia, Javea, Benitachell, Benidoleig, and Ondara also offer a wide variety of villas styles.

Renting a car in Pedreguer

Hiring a car is practically essential in this area because there is no municipal transport to speak of. There are loads of restaurants, shops, bars that you to pick from if you do not plan to trek very far, some folks just want a tranquil holiday. But if you mean to benefit from a great deal which the surrounding areas had to offer then you’re going to get more benefit by using a Pedreguer car rental. There are quite a few companies in Pedreguer and the surrounding areas where you can rent a car, or you can always select to collect from the airport as you disembark.

What to see in Pedreguer

Pedreguer is a town in the province of Alicante. The town is situated close to the two coastal towns of Javea and Denia, and is in the foothills of the Muntanya Gran Mountains. The population as of 2008 it is 7097. Pedreguer is such a beautiful small town which is surrounded by vineyards and orange groves and is the gateway to the fantastic Orba Valley. It is a market town which is typical of Spain, and the town also has a small manufacturing industry based around leather goods, bags, and hats.

There is some beautiful old architecture here such as the 16th century Santa Cruz Parish Church. The Market Square of Pedreguer Alicante itself is constructed with many wooden beams, cast iron pillars, and is covered with Arabic tiles. The village itself has such a beautiful appearance with many of the houses painted in gorgeous colors.

There is a market in Pedreguer Spain every Saturday. This market has many styles and features many different types of products including a variety of Spanish foods. Also, every Sunday morning, there is a flea market at the Vergel safari park. There are many different stalls here, up to around 400, typically selling crafts, arts, souvenirs, bric-a-brac, leather goods, fashion accessories, sunglasses, and CDs. Each town in the region holds a fiesta at least once a year, Pedreguer Costa Blanca holds their fiesta in July. It is dedicated to Sant Bonaventura and features a bull run.

There are plenty of sports in the area, most taking place at the local beaches. For the golfing enthusiast, there is plenty of Pedreguer golfing to be had up and down the region.

Where can you eat in Pedreguer

The chow in this region is a mixture of Spain, England, Germany, Holland, China, India, Canton, and an agrarian, and I am certain if you look hard enough you will find other appetizing national cuisines. If you cannot discover some food to go well with your preference in this place then there is something wrong with your taste buds. A couple of restaurants in the region include the Arcos restaurant which was founded in 1966. It offers daily home-made and in season meals. Another is the restaurant Armell which is situated on Partida Albardanere.

The weather in Pedreguer

All through the year, the climate in the region of Pedreguer is sunny. The winters are balmy and sunny the summers are beautiful and hot. Rainfall is something which is delighted in within this province, a pause from the constant sunshine, but don’t worry because rain doesn’t appear that frequently.
