Moraira Costa Blanca
Moraira Costa Blanca is one of those towns that have not been negatively affected by tourism. What used to be a small fishing town has developed into one of Spain’s most visited and modern fishing sites. Tourism has brought visitors from all over the world to this beautiful little town. Many have chosen to reside here permanently while others return here every year for the holiday season.

Moraira is one of the towns that have found a positive way to combine the ast and the present for its own advantage. Much of its charm lies in its charming location and weather. Averaging not more than 18 degrees, Moraira enjoys an unbeatably pleasant weather all year round. Due to its secluded position in the mountains, it is not too affected by the extreme weather conditions.
Moraira was settled by the Moors and began its life as a small fishing village. Much of Moraira’s architecture and water system reflects the influence of the Arabs. Today, the fishing port has become an important pat of the town’s attraction and a common sight. All of Spain’s conquerors used one of its historical coves, called the Portet. Today, many water sports are offered in Portet as a form of entertainment and to pass the leisure hours. Like the rest of the Costa Blanca cities, Moraira provides wonderful Blue flag beaches that are complete with safety services and wonderful facilities. The visitor will find cafes, restaurants, restrooms and showers along the beaches that make this one of the best beach experiences in Costa Blanca. The water is dazzlingly clear and many services fo boat riding and sailing are provided.
The small town of Moraira Costa Blanca has escaped the fast paced life that usually accompanies modernism. Its development is limited to the services that it provides. You will still find many old style villas and very less apartment buildings in Moraira. This gives it the air of a typical small Spanish village and those desirous of experiencing it can easily rent a villa for their vacation.
