Cabo Roig is located along the coastline of Spain, in the region of the Costa Blanca. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area. The area is renowned worldwide for having an interesting environment which improves the health of anybody that visits here. It was initially built during the 16th century and was intended to defend the area from attacks from Berber pirates that were notorious in striking towns located near the coastlines of Spain. The structure is now currently located right next to a restaurant. After a swim along the beaches or a tour in town, residents and tourists can relax and take a drink in the nearby restaurant. The restaurant is located on an elevated portion of the resort, overlooking the town. From this point, tourists can enjoy an exquisite view of the Mediterranean Sea and even the nearby cliffs.

As being adjacent to La Zenia, tourists can also enjoy a relaxing walk along the cliffs. It is a magnificent way to start the mornings or end the day, taking advantage of the cool climate on the high points of both towns. This is a welcoming change of temperature as the area along the beaches can get especially hot during the summer months with the heat being reflected by the sea waters. The cliffs are high enough that they allow tourists to see the nearby resorts such as La Manga.

Although the town is known for its beaches, it also well developed for those looking for another type of fun and enjoyment. The town is alive from daybreak to the wee hours of the following morning. Besides the beaches, tourists can also take advantage of the numerous boutiques and stalls strewn throughout town. There are numerous types of shops and restaurants within the vicinity of the resort to fill any need. For a greater experience of what life is like in the community, tourists should try the local market. Located at the Playa Flamenca, the local market is open during Saturdays.

For those travelling in large groups or with children looking for more fun than the beaches, there is the nearby Aqua Splash Park located in the town of Torrevieja. Other options include the fair and ice cream parlors. The town of Cabo Roig, a perfect place to go to regardless of age.
