The true originality of this festival is in marketing its historical foundations, as manifested in the names of the groups (Astures, Almogávares, Bedouins, benimerines, …), some of these go back to the Crevillente of the thirteenth century and whose originality is that there are no winners or losers, it is a true symbol of brotherhood and tolerance between the two-Moorish and Christian communities. There is a market that opens here every Friday.
The sporting enthusiasts, there is plenty to do in the region including visiting the local beaches of Torrevieja, Valencia, and Santa Pola.
