There are two airports serving the Costa Blanca region, one is Alicante airport which is situated to the north of Ciudad Quesada and the second airport is Murcia airport which is situated in San Javier are to the South. You can get to Ciudad Quesada by road via the AP-7 motorway which runs through the West.

You will need to travel very far because the center of Ciudad Quesada is really well catered for by plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars. But there is a lot to see in this area and by taking a Ciudad Quesada car rental you will be able to enjoy much more surrounding areas. Can be rented from several companies in the locale or at one of the airports in the region.

What to see in Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada is a new town, as a matter-of-fact the town didn’t even exist before 1972. It was the brainchild of a young Spanish businessman called Señor Justo Quesada Samper; it took almost 30 years the town to achieve proper recognition. Ciudad Quesada is alive with things to do. To the north, just before you get to the town of Rojales, there is the aqua Park. To the south, there are the Torrevieja and La Mada salt lakes.  The La Mada salt lake is now a big tourist attraction with national park status. The Torrevieja salt lake is still in production. There are many golf courses in the region; Ciudad Quesada golfing is a very important part of the local economy.

What to eat in Ciudad Quesada

The food in this region is a mixture of Spanish, English, German, Dutch, Chinese, Indian, Cantonese, Hungarian, and I am sure if you look hard enough you will find other delicious national cuisines. So you will never be stuck for something to eat.

The weather in Ciudad Quesada

The weather in Ciudad Quesada is generally sunny, just like it is all over the Costa Blanca. There are beautiful hot sunny summers and mild sunny winters. Rain is something which is delighted in within this region, a break from the constant sunshine, but don’t worry it doesn’t come that often.
