Where is Albatera

The position of Albatera is in the South East of Spain. It is in the province of Alicante, in the area known as the Costa Blanca. The nearest towns to Albatera Spain include Catral, Cox, Callosa del Segura, Crevillent, Orihuela, Dolores, Elche to the north, Redovan, Rojales, Ciudad Quesada, and Algorfa. Alicante airport is fairly close at only 37 km which is approximately 25 minutes drive. At 61 km, Murcia airport is a bit further away. You can also come in via Valencia airport but this is approximately a two hour journey at over 230 km distance.

Albatera has a population (according to the 2005 census) of 10,499. There are some great Spanish schools here with a simple way of life pervading the whole area. Albatera golfing can be achieved through many of the local golf courses in the Costa Blanca region.

Except for the fantastically mouth-watering Spanish food which is supplied in Albatera, you can consume terrific cuisine from numerous assorted countries including China, the Netherlands, India, England, Hungary, German, and French in this region. You really have to be fussy if you cannot uncover something to go well with your taste buds in this area. With Torrevieja or Alicante just a stones throw, your choices should be even wider. One excellent restaurants in the area, an Italian no less, is called Capicci, on Avenida del Pais. The weather conditions in Albatera

The weather in Albatera is usually sun-drenched, similar to all over the Costa Blanca. The summer weather conditions are usually hot with the winter temperatures generally being really temperate. It does not rain often here, but when it does it can occur in heavy downpours, and the storms here can be quite magnificent.
